By Attending the India Energy Week 2023 was a unique opportunity to learn about the latest developments in energy efficiency and network with key players in the industry. I had the chance to hear from leading energy experts, learn about new technologies and solutions, and explore new business opportunities. Additionally, I was able to contribute to the development of energy efficiency policies and programs that will shape the future of the energy industry in India.

I had a chance to speak to one of the exhibitors and got to know how their product can help oil companies to reduce fire-related losses. The company’s brand name was Shoot fire (Shoot fire from Vimal Fire Controls is, engaged in the manufacturing of sophisticated products ranging from Specialized Fire Extinguishers and Advanced Fire Fighting Systems to many more.)

The CEO of the company explain to me the past history when Indian oil got a deeper loss in 2009, the Jaipur fire. Many imported machinery and fuel products got burned in a quick session. Due to there being no ERU (Emergency Response Unit), Authorities were unable to handle this massive tragedy. The Indian government sent a team to analyze the root cause and, how to rid of it. The committee submit the report and recommend to built an ERU near the Oil hubs to reduce the timing and save natural resources as well as imported machinery.

So, he explained that they have lightweight vehicles and equipment which can cover a 10km radius in a quick time and it will be very helpful as they are using nitrogen Gas based products to help to get rid of the flame fast.

Conclusion: In conclusion, the India Energy Week visit was a truly enriching experience. Through engaging with experts and thought leaders, attending insightful sessions, and exploring the latest trends and technologies, I gained a deeper understanding of the energy landscape in India and the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead. The visit provided valuable networking opportunities and helped me forge meaningful connections with peers in the industry. Overall, I left the India Energy Week event feeling inspired and empowered to contribute to the sustainable energy future of India.
